Teaming up to offer enhanced support to dementia carers and those living with a diagnosis of dementia
Press Release – for immediate release: 14th August 2024
Dementia Help magazine, a leading consumer publication for family carers, has teamed up with DementiaNet, a new intuitive web platform designed to help people manage life with dementia.
DementiaNet is now the exclusive headline sponsor and partner of Dementia Help. This new collaboration aims to provide unparalleled advice and support to carers and those living with dementia, leveraging the strengths of both organisations.
‘DementiaNet’s new interactive platform aligns perfectly with my mission at Dementia Help to offer comprehensive support to carers,’ says Christina Collison, who is Founder & Editor. ‘This partnership will ensure that we continue to provide the very best resources to the dementia community.’
Valuable insights on dementia
Launched in 2023, Dementia Help magazine offers valuable insights on financial planning, daily caring tasks, and reviews of helpful products. The next issue will be available to download for free on November 7th from the website. Writer and editor Christina launched the magazine after caring for her late mother, Hazel, who had vascular dementia.
Scheduled to launch in October, DementiaNet will provide a personalised digital pathway relevant to users’ personal situations.
‘DementiaNet will provide a unique and user-friendly digital experience to give structure and information for managing day-to-day life with dementia,’ says Director Angela Walton. ‘Individuals, families, carers and everyone involved can use the platform’s bespoke search technology and user-focused design, which minimises internet trawling time to provide the right information and access to guidance when it’s needed. Our partnership with Dementia Help magazine will amplify the much-needed support available to this community.’
Support is crucial
With approximately 700,000 dementia carers in the UK and over 944,000 people living with a diagnosis, the collaboration comes at a crucial time for those in need. For further information, please contact:
